A movement that reflects the imagination of Neighbors and Friends who believe without periodic political challenges to the status quo, existing forms of governance tend to establish, uphold, and obscure practices of domination and exclusion. The People tacitly accept this environment as the norm. Dissent and deliberation challenge institutionalized relations of power and enforce a level of accountability otherwise impossible - empowering the People to #SpeakUP #ShowUP #PowerUP

Here at PowerUPMassachusetts, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for our children. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. Dismantling and reinventing efforts are fraught with obstacles. We believe that we are more impactful as a collective. Together we will mobilize, affirm and connect people of all ages, identities and backgrounds into a collective power that will prioritize the core principle that We the People are the voice of the future. ADVOCACY
Be the Voice
Our advocacy efforts draw attention to systems, policies and structures that sustain inequity, foster apathy and cause harm. We highlight harmful stereotypes and internalized beliefs. Through community empowerment we will facilitate progress. Get Involved. We invite everyone to understand the ubiquitous ways policies and belief systems oppress, suppress and perpetuate violence.

We promote opportunities for civic engagement and volunteering.
